Legacy Community Partners hosted Santa’s Helpers for the
drop-off of new, unwrapped toys for needy children on December
11, 2003 in Bishop Park. Santa’s Helpers celebrated its 34th
year of collecting Christmas toys for children throughout the
Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. 2003 was the third year for Legacy
to serve as a toy collection location and over 2,000 toys were
collected. These toys benefited the Assistance Center of Collin
County and the Plano Santas program of the Plano Police
Department.
